Pope Francis' consecration of Russia

Dear faithful,

On March 25, Pope Francis held a ceremony in Rome in which he said "Therefore, Mother of God and our Mother, to your Immaculate Heart we solemnly entrust and consecrate ourselves, the Church and all humanity, especially Russia and Ukraine."

It seems that the key words requested by Our Lady Fatima, 'Consecrate', 'Immaculate Heart' and 'Russia'  were all found in this Act of Consecration, but not exactly in the order that we were expecting.
Thus, some may wonder if such consecration was done properly, according to the wish of Our Blessed Mother.  Another area of concern, also, is the fact that not all the bishops joined, though possibly most of them recited the Act of Consecration.

So, the big question is "was the Consecration of Russia done by Pope Francis on March 25, 2022 done properly, according to the will of Our Lady?" Time will tell us.  If it was done properly, we should see the fulfillment of the signs given by Our Lady: Russia will convert to the Catholic Church, a time of peace will given to the world and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph.  But how and when it will happen?  We don't know.  The calendar of Our Blessed Mother doesn't not necessary match our human calendars.

Meanwhile, the SSPX joined this happy initiative, using a slightly modified version of the Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, composed years ago by our founder, the late Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

But now, the best way to express our thanksgiving for that undertaking in honour of Our Lady will be to practice the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with the Communion in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the First Saturday of the Month.  That is why, if it is not yet done, I am inviting all of our faithful to join with the First Saturday this coming Saturday, April 2.

On Friday, March 25, the Act of Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be recited at the end of the 7:15am Mass and, also, during a Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, held before the 6:00pm Mass.  On that day, the Way of the Cross will exceptionally start at 5:00pm.  The whole ceremony will be live-streamed.
